Connecting 2960 switch to HG532 ADSL modem

Dears,

 

i am trying to connect 2960-8 port siwitch to HG532 adsl modem but i need some help in the needed configuration on both modem and switch

i need to know the cabling type between the modem and the cisco switch (straight-cross) ?

i have tried to use the switch without configuration but the users connected to the switch can't go out to the internet although i can reach internet using wifi

 

setup

ADSL modem ---> 2960 switch ---> LAN users

Should be a straight-through cable. Check the document for some guidance.

Just ensure the switch is plugged in to the LAN side, and that DHCP is enabled on the router.
