Connectivity checking on site-to-site

Hi all,

these 2 sites are connected with fiber-optic through 2950G-xl-en switches. Same vlans (1-11) being configured on both switches.

I also configured vlan trunk on port gi0/1 on both switches. The command is "switchport mode trunk". No encapsulation is configured, as it defaulted to dot1q. I checked by typing "show int gi0/1 switchport", "show int gi0/1 trunk"; both are having the same results.

Any thing wrong with my configuration?

By the way, should I configure default gateway on the switches?

You should configure the default gateway on both switches so that they can route to any management segments that need to access the switches.
