I am trying to find out some exact details about what happens during a DHCP conversation between a client, server, and relay agent. What I need is: what is the size of the DHCP packet in all forms - initial discovery from client, relay agent to server, server response, then client to server unicast. Anyone know, or can point me in the direction of some good docs that won't take all day to read?
