I have a strange problem at one of my sites. When you bring up a new device or a device that has been inactive for a few days you can access everthing on the local subnet but are not able to access the default router or anything else not on the local subnet. The problem goes away when you clear the eigrp neighbors on all three of the core routers at our 3 sites. Anyone else have a problem like this? Perhaps a solution. Thanks.

Hello Clyde,
can you do a ´show ip eigrp topology´ when the problem occurs and check if there are any active routes (that is routes with the letter A in front of them) ?
Regards,
Georg

Check your IOS versions, several 12.1 revisions were buggy and had many ghost routes in the table after topology changes.
