enable http login to switch

Is it possible to enable login by http (web interface) to catalyst 4006 switch with WS-C4006 Software, Version NmpSW: 6.3(5) ??

Then now I think I have to copy only cat4000-cv.6-3-2a.bin image and it will work.. is it right ??

and what about my current config it will be still there or may be affected !!

Hi Ahmed,

yes you are right just copy the cv image and it will take care of the things and it will not affect the config as we are not changing the main system file and cv image is just for HTTP access and will not disturb the main config but always recommended to take the backup of your old config just for precaution.

Hello Guys I am new to this and I am looking for help. I have a 2980g  that I am working with. I am trying to get  6.3.2a or better so that I can get the http to work. I am also looking for a upgrade path if any. I am running what looks like 6.1.4. Please  if you can send me a link. I maybe able to help who ever I have many contacts to enterprise system products.
