Hi all
what is the bandwidth of frame relay links, is it 2048mb, and can you apply this to ethernet, serial interfaces etc ?

There is as such no specific bandwith for Frame Relay.You can configure on serial interface only

Depending on where you are, FR Access speed limit is 2048Kb/s (E1) or 1544Kb/s (T1) configured on Serial interface only. Your service provider can give you anything below that. If you need more then ATM or L2 Metro Ethernet (which you can apply to ethernet)would be better choice.

Cant FR have more than E1/T1 speeds?i was in impression that FR can work more than that also , if u have required things like bw and HSSI interface.

high speed frame relay service is indeed available from certain providers (e.g. MCI). Have a look at the link below, which contains a sample contract (scroll dwon to somewhere halfway down the page, it lists the different Frame Relay speeds offered, and the respective prices):
