From 1 gig to 10 gig on a 3750 to 3850 connection

Hi,

I have upgraded a connection between a WS-C3750X-48P and WS-C3850-48P  from a 1 gig connection to 10 gig.

The 1 gig connection was solid, but the 10 gig connection has input errors and crc errors on both ends.

Does the config need to be changed, to upgrade from a 1 gig to a 10 gig connection? I swapped out the fiber on both ends and the sfp+ manufacturer advises that I look at my config.

"manufacturer"?  You mean the SFP+ is not a Cisco-branded SFP?

By the way, if anything goes wrong it's always a them-not-us problem.
