How do I get rid of erased files in the 2621 flash?

In larger routers I can use the 'squeeze' command to remove erased files and reclaim the memory, but the 2621 doesn't have the 'squeeze' command. What do I do on this router to accoplish the same thing?

Howdy -

I just read a field notice that says that the 'squeeze' command was added to the 2600 and 3600 in IOS v12.2. No mention of a previous method (other than formatting the flash and re-installing the code)...

if you can't upgrade just yet, try format and then download a fresh copy before reloading ;)
