Are you trying to find out who has connected to your router ??? Say via telnet ?
If thats correct, you can use "show users" comand, to see the IP address of the host who has connected to the router.
You can also see the user name in the above command;s output , if you have configured authentication on the particular line through which the user has logged in.

If you want to have a accounted log of who has been accessing the router ..... you might want to enable AAA accounting. You can either use a freeware accounting software which either uses, TACACS or RADIUS servers,or you can use Cisco ACS server, for this feature.
