How to enable ip nat dynamically in all interfaces

Hello. Is there any way to enable ip nat (both inside/outside) dynamically and automatically in all interfaces instead of enable it per interface?

Is it need to upgrade or install specific IOS ?

Mostly I need to know it in Cisco ASR platform.

Thanks.

Be quick and careful!

Hello Ahmad,

the NAT operation is triggered by having one packet received on an ip nat inside interface that has to be routed out of an ip nat outside interface (just to explain the most common case).

So configuration of these two commands on the appropriate interfaces should be mandatory for a working NAT solution as far as I know.

What is your platform ? ASR 1000 with IOS XE or ASR 9000 with IOS XR ?

Are you using the device as a BRAS broadband aggregation router ?

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Dear Giuseppe Larosa, Thanks for reply.
My problem has been resolved. I realized that by activating this feature with the corresponding command (ip nat enable), the NAT operation for that interface will be performed.
