How to Upgrading of BXM Firmware

Hi There,

First Time I am doing the BPX (BXM Module firmware upgrading. Can any one help me the step of BXM upgrading procedure.

Hello David,

The procedure is very simple.

Load the FW in the node,

burn the fw, "burnfwrev FWREV card".

The process is pretty quick.

Ok since I don't know what scenario you have there (SWsw version and BXM version and feature you enabled) I suggest you to download the Release notes for the FW rev you want to install.

maybe this attachment can help you in loading the BXM firmware in the BPX..

after you successfully loaded the BXM firmware, issue the 'burnfwrev' command.
