I can't ping the server or access the domain (NAT configuration)

Hello community,

 

Who can help me?

In this lab on packet tracer, in cant ping from pc0 and pc1 to the Server or the domain.

What i configured wrong?

Hi @Mailson 

 

With the show interfaces command, you can verify that the fa0/1 interface is not obtaining DHCP addressing.

This is because the cloud settings are incorrect.

To correct this, make these changes:

Go to the cloud> configuration> Ethernet6 and switch to the cable:

Then go to cloud> configuration> Cable and press Add to add the connection between these interfaces:

123.jpg

 

After these changes, the fa0/1 interface gains DHCP addressing and connectivity is successful.

Hi @Mailson 

 

I notice that you are missing a default route.
This is necessary for the router to have a route to unknown networks (internet).


Try this:
 Router(config)# ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 fa0/1
