Hi Guys,
With so many policers in use in the scavenger class model, does this impact on the switches CPU? For example, if I configure my access layer 6500 system with 500 users to have a policer on every ingress interface, that will be a lot of policers -500!! could the Sup720 CPU get hit?
Likewise with the 4500's and 3750's ???
I understand the Sacvenger class system. However, I have this CPU worry. If it's all handled in hardware then it's OK?
