Is this bug or unavailable on Cat3550?

I wanted to use PBR on Cat3550 using IOS12.1.(13)EA1a and

input some related configurations.

I succeeded to input that configurations, but when I execute 'sh run',

I couldn't see my configuration which I typed already.

----------------------------

access-list 1 permit 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.255

route-map aaa

match ip address 1

set ip next-hop 10.2.1.1

interface fastethernet 0/1

ip policy route-map aaa

-----------------------------

As above, I typed and I confirmed that 'ip policy route-map aaa' was disappeared.

I read the IOS release page on cisco HP that I can use PBR

on Cat3550 using IOS12.1.(13)EMI.

Why couldn't I see the configuration which I typed and why couldn't it be applied?

Are you sure policy based routing is available in 12.1(13)EA1a? I seem to

have heard that it would be available for the 3550 in a later IOS release.

Yes, I'm surre. You can find the release which PBR is a new feature of 12.1.(13)EA1.

I tried it and encounted same problem.I think it is 3550's bug.

Many time I tried the new feature which cisco said support and always failed.

I don't konw why.Maybe it is not tested at every scenario and I'm not luckly.

You can run out of memory for a number of reasons: high traffic to/through the cpu, sw bug, etc. You can check out the following link for possible assistance:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/63/mallocfail.shtml

This link will help you troubleshoot the problem and possibly match against a known issue. However, if you can't find a match, you will likely need to open a TAC case for this problem. If you submit a case be sure to include a 'show tech' taken from enable mode, your complete logging buffer 'sh log', and as much detail about any changes to the configuration or your network operating environment. Also, when did the problem start, how frequent has it been, etc. If you collect any data per the above tech tip include that as well.
