Link up and down

Hi,

I have two 2620 routers used for a dedicated T1 for a branch office. I am suspecting a router malfunction causing the the link to go up and down. I checked the serial interfaces and saw 5 carrier transitions and 9 interface resets, but I am not sure if it is due to my routers or to my ISP. How can I check if my router is causing the line to go up and down?

Thanks for your help

A cheap way is to use Syslog:

Setup on Router:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/univgate/ps501/products_case_study_chapter09186a008007c6ac.html#xtocid246504

Great Syslog Server(freeware):

You could also use also use WhatsUpGold by Ipswitch.
