Medianet and windows 8 vdi

Hi,

We are in the process of trialling VMWare View virtual desktop with Windows 8 as the os.

Ignore the VM side of things for now, Im trying to get it to work on my laptop with Windows 8.

Jabber works well, but the medianet msi fails to install. "Cisco Media Services Interface Setup Wizard ended prematurely."

I found a post that said to extract the files from the msi and install the .inf file and then install it on the nic. But the jabber client still says Medianet is not installed.

I am using Jabber version 9.2.6 and msi_setup-3-2-5-0-7147.

Is Windows 8 still not supported? Do you foresee any problems with it going on Virtual desktop?
