Memory Requirements for 4500 Routers

I have 8MB of Flash and 16MB of DRAM. I like to upgrade to atleast 12.0 routers which requires 8MB of Flash, but minimum 32MB of RAM. Does it have to have a 32MB of ram in order for upgrade to be successfull. I just want to use it in the lab with not much of processing power, and thought may be I could do it regardless of only having 16MB of RAM. Will it work?

The IOS version 12.0.25 for Cisco 4500-M/4700/4700-M with IP ONLY

feature set requires 4MB of Flash and 16MB of DRAM.

32MB of DRAM is required for the IP PLUS imgae.

But if your router is only a Cisco 4500 (not M-series), then you need

to upgrade to 32MB of DRAM for at least an IP ONLY image.
