%MGMT-4-OUTOFNVRAM:Out of NVRAM space, when new modules added

Hello,

I have added to new 48-port modules (WS-X6348-RJ-45) in slots 12 and 13 of a Catalyst 6513 running 7.3.(1).

When issuing configuration commands i get the following message:

2003 May 23 12:33:43 %MGMT-4-OUTOFNVRAM:Out of NVRAM space: (12,26640,524288,9268)

There are some articles at the Web explaining this error and the workaround that is to Move the ACL configuration to Flash memory, or clear the configuration for modules not in use.

According with this workaround i removed a QOS ACL previously defined so that no acl exists anymore in the configuration, but the error persist.

Does anyone know what else to do?.

Kind regards.

Albert.

Save the config to text (from binary) and point the config file to bootflash: or the flash card in slot0:

If you change the config mode, make sure you save the config each time you make a change with "write mem" command
