I'm planning an CW reinstalation and backup and reinstall of all their applications databases.
Platforms:
A - CiscoWorks2000 Routed WAN
CD One Fourth Edition
Resource Manager Essentials 3.3
ACLM 1.3
IPM 2.3
RTM 1.3
B - CD One Fifth Edition 2.1
Device Fault Manager 1.2
DFM Incremental Device Update 1.2
Voice Health Monitor Suite 1.1
C - CD One Fourth Edition
CiscoWorks Voice Manager 2.1
QoS Policy Manager 2.1
Telemate 5.0
What is the best approach?
1.1- database backup
1.2- Install new version in new machines
1.3- database restore
or
2.1- database backup
2.2- Install old version in new machines
2.3- database restore
2.4- Upgrade old version to new versions
After that I'll need also to install two CW LMS 2.0 (RM 3.3 + CM 3.1 + DFM 1.1 + RTM 1.3).
What should I take care for these reinstall and new install, before going on documentation? I'm looking for ideias, docs on these?
