Multicast and RTCP

A multicast application is sent out over RTP/RTCP. If one receiver feeds back via RTCP to effectively say there's a receiving problem (could be congestion/bandwidth) and the other receivers are happy, the sender can react by changing the encoding/compression technique on future transmissions. Will that be to all receivers, or just to the unicast address of the receiver with the problem ?

Somebody out there somewhere must have this level of knowledge ??

You can change the encoding or compression technique for a single destination unicast address which belong s to a multicast group...

The ISO MPEG-4 simple profile codec takes advantage of improved compression technology that makes it possible to stream higher-quality video at lower bit rates.

The MP2T feature allows you to stream content from a live source as a single program transport stream (SPTS) over Real-Time Protocol (RTP)/User Datagram Protocol (UDP).
