NBAR and X.25 encapsulation

Hello Community!

I have the following question. I have routers running X25 encapsulation on their serial interfaces and I have also enabled the following commands on the respectve interfaces:

ip nbar protocol-discovery

ip flow ingress

ip flow egress

ip route-cache flow

Unfortunately I don't get any information when I run "sh ip cache verbose flow". When I issue the nbar commands on the FastEthernet interface I do get info, so nbar is configured correctly and nothing is wrong with the router.

Does anyone know if nbar protocol-discovery works with X25 encapsulation?

Thanks in advance,

Katerina

Hello Katerina,

As I recall, nbar doesn't support any other traffic than ip.

Hi Katerina,

What happens when you just have flow ingress or egress under the interface?

Can you share the running config and the other show outputs along with show version as well?

thanks,

Bhadri

As can be seen I only get traffic for the FastEthernet interface. The version running on the route is : c2801-adventerprisek9-mz.124-24.T3.bin

I tend to agree with christof32, but I haven't found that in any documentation... Any links???

Thanks

Thank you guys This really answers my question!
