For a temporary project, I need my primary address space, 172.16/16 to be shared with a remote office over a full T of frame. Right now, I am running a different address block in the remote office and routing between the two sites which works fine but I quite desparately need to have the 172.16/16 network available on both sides of the WAN.
Is this possible? How do I configure it?
Thanks.
Vic.

There is a feature called IRB, Integrated Bridging and Routing, which allow you to route a protocol on some interfaces and bridge it on others. This allows you to put multiple bridged interfaces in the same IP segment.
There is an example at the following URL -
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/741_10.html
You would need to configure bridging across the frame as well.

Thanks! I will give it a shot. Vic.

Since you are bridging two networks, all broadcast will go over the link to the other side. So if you have 2 busy networks on either side, a lot of the link will be used for broadcasts.
