Next Generation Firewalls i.e. 1010 through 1150

Hello All,

I keep getting conflicting information. I need to know if the next generation firewalls are supported by ASDM?

Can I continue to manage these devices through ASDM and not FMC or the internal supported management tools if I would like to? We just purchased the next generation series to replace our 5506, 5516 and 5525 ASA's . Please let me know and thank you

 - Nice question but better to check before buying , apparently these devices can run ASA software or FTD , from a first glance in ASA-mode, ASDM can be used.

Thank you, and yes that is a good suggestion however, we are forced to upgrade due to government policies and audits.

 - In FMC it will not use ASDM  , here is an initial setup overview :
