Hi,
Does anyone know what this port is used for? Or what VFO is standing for?
I found lots of traffic between port 1056 and 139 (after ran the packet sniffer) but could not figure out what application generated this traffic.
thanks.

Chris,
139 is the following (Microsoft stuff)
netbios-ssn 139/tcp NETBIOS Session Service
netbios-ssn 139/udp NETBIOS Session Service
1056 is not defined in RFC 1700 (http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/cgi-bin/rfc/rfc1700.html)
VFO seems to stand for Variable Frequency Oscillaror... an application can that run on Windoze...

Hope this helps you,
