Hello,

A RAS is disconnecting PSTN calls with causes = 0x7F00 and 0xDF00

Can someone explain me thoses causes ?

All disconnected calls for 0x7F00 are very shorts ones.

Here are some SYSlog traces:

%MODEM_HIST-3-END_CALL: Mica Modem 1/11

Call Time - 00:00:18, Disconnect Reason (0x7F00) - Host Disconnect

0 retrains and/or speed shifts, 0 ec retransmissions requested

0 chars tx, 0 chars rx, 20 chars rx bad

0 ppp packets tx, 0 ppp packets rx, 0 ppp packets rx bad

0 ec packets tx, 0 ec packets rx, 0 ec packets rx bad

0 v110 packets tx, 0 v110 packets rx, 0 v110 packets rx bad, 0 v110 sync loss

%MODEM_HIST-3-END_CALL: Mica Modem 1/5

Call Time - 00:26:49, Disconnect Reason (0xDF00) - Host Disconnect

1 retrains and/or speed shifts, 35 ec retransmissions requested

0 v110 packets tx, 0 v110 packets rx, 0 v110 packets rx bad, 0 v110 sync loss

the code 0xDF00 seems to be related to V110, but no V110 packets are seen.

Here is the link which will explain you what are those disconnect cause codes stands for mica modems

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/76/mica-states-drs.html

To troubleshoot more about the actual reasons, you need to turn on "modem call-record terse" or "spe call-record terse" in the global config. Based on that failed call records, we can see what actually is going on there. Above link also explains that.

Hello,

Thank you for this URL. There are some codes explained.

I'll use it and this debug too.

Thank you very much.
