QoS and CoS

Hi

can any one help me in starting to apply QoS in my network.

i read about QoS and i understand it to a good extent..but actually i got lost in doing a case.

i mean i want to know what shall i do exactly, ACL, Filters, Classes..and QoS parameters.

if there is any case study with configuration , this will be great.
