QOS on a 6500

Hi. We have a requirement to use QOS on a gig link between two 6500's (one sup II and one sup 720) to guarantee 100 mbps for a SAN. I haven't configured QOS except in the lab and I heard that it doesn't work on 6500's.

Has anyone set up QOS on a 6500 to guarantee bandwidth for an application?

If so, can you provide configs or guidelines on how?
