Regarding danger temperature zone

I’m writing to about temperature issue.
The thing is, High temperatures are dangerous.
But, I don't know danger temperature zone.
Hence, Is there the cisco set up a standard about the temperature value?

for example, 70oc -> critical, 100oc -> need to rma

module 9 asic-1 temperature: 63C module 9 asic-2 temperature: 59C

if you check your modules data sheet online you will see they have guidelines for the temp to be ran at , 63 is high you may need more air conditioning in room /ventilation

Diff modules can vary though so always best to check the sheet for esach type but generally you want to be below 50%

As an example I just checked a few 6500s I have here and there all below 50% and within the range expected for my module 6748

If this issue is unrelated to aircon, What should i check?  (this means that air condition has already installed)

Make sure none of the rack panels where the fans are on the chassis are obstructing the airflow if the temp in the room is ok or that no other device is blocking airflow

Make sure no other devices are seeing same issue that way it will isolate it to just the chassis , turn up the aircon if possible  see if it makes a difference over a day

I have a last question..

As I know, Operating temperature means that equipment is working normally. Then What do you mean by "Storage temperature"

thats the temp specification the room should be running in between to have the device operating normally at proper temps , where the device is stored basically , these are recommendations , you will see nearly all data sheets have a max of 70 degrees but then can vary how cold the room can be too some as low as 40 or 20

"show environment alarm thresholds module 9" should show you the minor and major threshold values for the temperature sensors on that line card
