could u ps explain brief these command:
swith1
spanning-tree vlan 10 root primary
spanning-tree vlan 20 root primary
spanning-tree vlan 30 root primary
switch2
spanning-tree vlan 10 root secondry
spanning-tree vlan 20 root secondry
spanning-tree vlan 30 root secondry

Hi Ali,
You can say it as a STP redundancy by which I mean for vlan 10,20 and 30 your root switch is switch 1 and switch 2 is a secondary root bridge so that if you root switch goes down there will be secondary root switch which will take care of your network.
If you do not have secondary root bridge then when switch 1 will go down there will be a election for root bridge which will take more convergence time and moreover any non desirable switch can become a root bridge which you may not want.
So I will always recommend this design infact you can have switch 1 as root for vlan 10 and vlan 20 and switch 2 as secndary root for vlan 30 and switch 2 can be configured as root for vlan 30 and switch 1 can be configured as secondary root for vlan 30 and this way you can have STP load balancing also with redundancy.
