Hi,
I've looked through the list of supported models for the Cisco SDM for routers, and it supports 1710 and 1721.
Have anyone tried to use it with 1720, or are there anyone out there who knows whether or not it works?
Thanks in advance,
Rasmus

The Cisco 1721 router offers integrated security features, including stateful inspection firewall functionality and IDS as an optional Cisco IOS Software feature. By deploying Cisco IOS Software firewall functionality, customers do not need to purchase or manage multiple devices, thus simplifying network management and reducing capital costs. Additionally, remote management applications, such as Cisco Security Device Manager (SDM), make it easier than ever to deploy and monitor Cisco IOS Firewall and VPN on your Cisco 1721 router.

I have used 1720 routers with SDM and it worked ok.

Hi Rick,
I just tried running SDM but it says "unsupported router". What IOS version did you use SDM on, on the 1720? I use the newest 12.4(something).
Thanks in advance,
Rasmus

I am surprised at this. We were using a 12.3T release (I believe it was 12.3(4)T1).

Hi,
Thanks for your answer, but I think you read my question wrong. The question was whether or not I could run SDM on a 1720, not a 1721.
Thanks,
Rasmus
