Simplex on HSSI

Please advise any special configuration is needed for the simplex satellite link? And, the interface is HSSI.

The special configuration required for simplex links are "no keepalive" and if it's receive simplex link then to give "transmit-interface xxx" command. Both are interface configuration commands.

where are we going to apply this command, at the transmit end or at the receive end?

No keepalive goes on both ends.

Depending on applicaiton, you may not need transmit-interface at all.
