SNMP CONFIG-COPY-MIB or equivalent

I am looking for a workaround for the CONFIG-COPY-MIB. We have hundreds of 3500 series switches deployed where we use this MIB to maintain configuration backups. However, our new rotation of equipment is now the 3550 line of switches in which I see this MIB is not support. What gives here? Is there any universal MIB for obtaining a running config from a switch that will work on all switches?
