Hi.
Is it a SNMP OID which is similar to the the command:
show cam count dynamic
I would like to graph this value to see if major changes in the cam table of my switches with MRTG.

Well I know about this tech tips but then I must count the number of lines before graphing them. Is it not possibel to read directly the counter for:
show cam count dyn ????

There is no one single MIB object that would give you the output eq of 'sh cam count dyn'.

Not only do you have to count it yourself, if you have vlans configured on your switch you have retrieve the CAM separately for each vlan and add them up - as per the tip sheet. Just thought I'd point that out since it eluded me for quite a while.
