HI
What is the switch model?
A general switch's LED indication like 3550 can be found at
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/c3550/12120ea1/3550hig/35overvu.htm#1028968
Since the switch LED flashes at time of sending or recieving data, this may be in ur case.If you are saying that they blink with same frequency..check the "mode" button. There are different actions assigned to it.(maybe you have set it to duplex mode, so all the lights are flashing:))

It sounds like you may have some device broadcasting... That would make all LEDs flash in sequence. Why don't you put a PC on that LAN and let ethereal run for a few seconds (should be enough since they are flashing extremely fast)? Then you can see what the source address is and if the destination is broadcast.
Good luck.
