Terminal Emulator for Mac OS X

can anyone help me with any software that I can use to do console from my Mac Os X to a cisco router. I will prefer a freeware. pls help, i have to configure this router today.

I have downloaded this software but i can only connect to the router using IP address, i want to connect to the CONSOLE port of the router. pls help me.

thanks a lot, but i have read the stuff, how can i configure it to talk to a console port of the router. i have connected a USB to serial cable to a cisco console cable.

Once you install the drivers for your USB to serial cable, it should appear as a COM port on your computer. Select this com port from the terminal emulation software and create a new connection to it. The Baud rate should be 9600, No flow control, 8 data bits, one stop bit, no parity. Hope that helps!
