All, can anyone help me on configuring a 3640 with a NM-8A/S module to act as a console connection to the console port on my switches? Basically what I am trying to do is connect via SSH to the 3640, then connect to my other Cisco devices via their console port. I'm not even sure if this module can be used to accomplish this, but it's what I have and am curious if anyone has done this. Any and all help/suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,
You can certainly do this with a 2500 series router that can be picked up on ebay for approx £100.
The following doc talks about using NM-16A and NM-32A async network modules too but i am not to sure about the interface of a NM-8A/S
