is the uBR7200-NPE-G1 and the vanila 7200-NPE-G1 are the same HW?
can I use the 7200-NPE-G1 to upgrade my ubr7246VXR router, or do I need the uBR7200-NPE-G1 for doing so, if yes what are the different between them?

The Cisco 7200 VXR and Cisco uBR7246VXR routers use different models of the NPE-G1 processor. Refer to the following link for more information:
