Under policy-map and class i cannot get the set command listed. I want to use the "set" command to set the dscp field. Is there anything besides cef that has to be enabled ?

Router(config)#policy-map Beta

Router(config-pmap)#class A

Router(config-pmap-c)#?

QoS policy-map class configuration commands:

bandwidth Bandwidth

default Set a command to its defaults

exit Exit from QoS class action

no Negate a command or set its defaults

priority Strict Scheduling Priority for this

queue-limit Queue Max Threshold for Tail Drop

random-detect Enable Random Early Detection as drop policy

<cr>

Router(config-pmap-c)#

Hi,

Will you please check your IOS version. While "policy-map", "class-map" and "class" commands were introduced in 12.0(5)T version, the "set ip dscp" command a bit later (introduced in 12.0(5)XE first, incorporated int T train in 12.1(2)T.

The output you are showing here looks like "pre-set_ip_dscp" period.

Best regards,

Antonin

This looks more like an IOS issue. Can you paste a sh version ?
