VIRL - Talking to External Network - Issue with Flat Network

Hi All 

I am having an issue connecting my virl topology to the internet, I am using vm workstation and I have attached the current settings from the virtual network editor, the topology and the UWM.

I believe the flat adaptor maps to vmnet2 on the 172.16.2.0/24 subnet.  do I need to do any bridging to allow access to the internet?
