I have a couple 3015 VPN concentrators installed locally, I can ping them, and therefore send/receive icmp... they however are not adding into the RME database... RME 3.5 IDU 8.0. Any ideas on how to manage them?

nevermind... The snmp community on the box was different from what the admin gave me.

Darn, I was about to suggest:
How are you trying to get them into RME? Does Campus Manager see and correctly categorize them? You will need current Package Support to do that (see http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/CiscoView/cvresult.cgi?product_class=Other&product=VPN3000&application=CiscoView+5.3%2C+5.4%2C+5.5 or the parent page - http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/CiscoView/cvplanner.cgi).
Once that works, I suggest synchronizing from Campus Manager to Essentials. Once you force a sync (or a scheduled sync occurs), go into the Log (click on show details) and analyze the outcome.
(Given your 2nd post, the above would have shown up in RME Inventory mport Status as a community string mismatch)

Funny, they were not coming into the RME database at all, just hanging in Not Responding

Exactly what you would expect if RME can't connect (i.e., bad community string).
