WCCP Question

I am attempting to enable WCCP on various routers with various types of IOS' on various types of interfaces (serial, ethernet, fastethernet) My question is that on some routers I am unable to initiate the "ip wccp web-cache redirct in" on the "ip wccp web-cache redirect out" on the interface. It does not seem to matter what version of IOS or what type of router. What is the problem?

It would be better if you can tell specifically on which routers the initiation cannot be done..However,the following URLs will help you to get the configuration guidelines for wccp web cache redirecting
