ATT Wireless and NAC Agent 4.7.2

We are having problems with a mac running OS 10.6 using a ATT Cellular card from Sierra wireless.  The machine is able to connect to the VPN using both the IPSEC client and the Anyconnect client fine but will not run the posture assesment with the NAC agent.  When the machine is hardwired, the NAC agent pops up just fine and runs.  We have found that wireless cards from ATT, Verizon and T-Mobile all exhibit the same behavior.  Any ideas?

Hello,

What version of NAC?

Faisal

I am running ver 4.7.2 on my CAS / CAM.

It would seem to that we have running up against bug CSCsy45807.

Any idea on a workaround?

Hello,

Per the bug notes there isn't a workaround listed for this one. The similar bug that was fixed in Windows agent had the root cause of not having any other interfaces enabled. Perhaps you can give that a try and see if that makes a difference?

Also the bug doesn't say which version it will be fixed in. If you know of your account team, please ping them and ask them for a clarification about this bug.

HTH,

Faisal
