I am trying to migrate a PIX config to another PIX, but I cannot recall the ISAKMP KEY used. It just looks like *****.
As I recall, the only way to remove this command (without deleting the entire isakmp config) is to remember the key in the "no" command. Is there another way to do this?
A better option, if possible, is to see the key in cleartext. Is there a way to do this?
Please help me ASAP.
Thanks,
Ed

although the key is presented in ********. you may still copy and paste the line to remove the entry.
e.g. no isakmp key ******** address 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.255 no-xauth no-config-mode will work
hope this helps

Copy your PIX config to a tftp server , you will then be able to view the key in clear-text.
