CCNA Security vs CompTIA Security+

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a direction on which path to go down to. Recently I just passed my CCNA R+S and I want to start my CCNA Sec. The only issue I am having is the books that are currently out there don't seen to have all the info needed to be prepared for the exam. CompTIA Sec+ does have an array of books and materials needed to prepare for the exam. Can anyone give me a good sense of direction with which book I should buy. I would love to get my CCNA Sec but if all the info out there isn't enough then I would rather get my Sec+ and be prepared. Any and all suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated

Hi,
I'd personally go with the CCNA Security certification, it's worth more (IMO) in the job market and it also renews your CCNA R&S. You could consider purchasing some videos, udemy has a few good (Chris Bryant), cheap courses you can buy on CCNA Security. The ciscopress books should be used to supplement the information learnt from the videos.
