CCNP routing after CCNA Security

Hi all,

Please I want to know if it's possible to do the CCNP exam with my CCNA Security certification.

(I have enougth knowledge in routing and switching but I don't know if CISCO allow us to do the CCNP routing & Switching with the CCNA Security certification ).

Hello!

Unfortunately you can't go directly to CCNP If you don't have the CCNA Routing and switching, you have to pass the complete CCNA R&S exam or if you have the CCENT you need to do the second exam in order to complete the CCNA certification.

CCNP Prerequisites

Valid Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification or any Cisco CCIE certification can act as a prerequisite.

You can always take the exam - you just won't get the certification until you have passed AND completed the prerequisites.
