Hi the expert team here...

my Cisco ASA 5510 doesn't save the  configuration to the disk.

from my checking, i've run the show flash  and the result returned as below:

Result of the command: "show flash"

Initializing disk0: cache, please wait...Failed.
-#- --length--  -----date/time------ path

0 bytes available (255426560 bytes used)
File Allocation Table  might be corrupted. Recommend running "fsck flash:"

after that, i run the check disk and  the result returned below:

Result of the command: "fsck disk0:"

Initializing disk0: cache, please wait...Failed.

Checking the boot sector and partition table...
Boot sector read  failed
%Error disk0: needs to be formatted
fsck of disk0:  complete
WARNING: Restoring security context mode failed.

Any advice from you to solve this  issue?

thanks!

have you tried to format it? if formatting it doesn't solve the problem, i recommend replacing the compact flash. please save your activation key(show version/show activation-key command) before proceeding ahead.
