Is there anyway to decrypt a password on a 3500 series switch? We have a switch at one of our client sites that we need to access, we have our configuration file but since the last time it was accessed the Enable password was not recorded.

If it's a type 7 encryption, you can decrypt it with a calculator. Or rather, just visit this link and type in your hashed password:

Otherwise, change your boot-register to 0x2142 and reload. The switch will boot and ignore the config. Only do this with local access as you'll need to get on the console to set your password after the router boots up.
config-register 0x2142
reload
cop star run
ena secret newpassword
config-register 0x2102
As always, backup your config file first for safety.
