Is there a way to delete old event log files from the IDM? If not, what is the best way to remove them.
Thanks,
Maged

By default, old log files are deleted automatically as the system fills the disk and the files age.
You can manually "clean up" using the following procedure:
Login as netrangr and cd to the /usr/nr/var directory.
run idsstop
/usr/bin/rm -f dump/* errors/* iplog/* iplog/new/* iplog/dump/* new/* log.* errors.*
run idsstart
