Device-type change in CS-MARS 5.3.2

Hello,

When I add an object in MARS as "Cisco Switch-IOS 12.2" device. It appears in the list as the right device-type. I can add now the FWSM modules. No problem.

But after MARS discovery, it changes into device-type "CISCO IOS 12.2". And after this change it is no longer possible to add other modules than IDS or IPS.

Who knows what to do about this?

The Device in this subject is a Catalyst 6509E, running 12.2(17d)SXB7 with FireWall Module 2.3 (12 firewall contexts).

You will have to do a device rediscovery after adding any other modules than the existing ones. The MARS detects the switch correctly as "Cisco IOS 12.2" and if any new module is added a rediscovery should be done.
