DNS and PAT

I have a dns server inside. The PIX is setup with static translation to the dns CCM server and the rest devices inside with PAT. When a device outside send a dns query on the CCM server inside the pix, it will get the dns reponse back from the dns server. The problem is that the respnose contains the inside address of the ccm server which is not translated.

If I put another static translation for the CCM server, everything is OK. Do I miss something here? Thanks!

To configure outside access to a server on the inside, you have to do a static mapping of the servers inside address to a public IP address. Open a conduit or an access list to the port ( 53UDP or TCP for DNS ) for the outside network to access the server.
